- Hello there... its Howard Feiges here
-
- A very quick question:
-
- We have a network.. We want to be able to dial out from any
- machine on the network, but we only have 1 modem and one outside
- phone line...
-
- Since I know its possible to share printers and files across the
- network.. its not too big of a stretch to imagine that it is also
- possible to share modems across the network...
-
- So, given that we have an NT server with a modem in it.. and that
- we have a mix of Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 workstations on the
- network... What software do I need in order to share the modem
- sitting on the Windwos NT server....
-
- Ultimately, Id like to be able to dial out to the internet
- (probably using the Windows '95 built in dial-out PPP networking
- capability) from (at least) the windows '95 terminals on the
- network...
-
- Thanx for the help...
